To celebrate, I'm having an international giveaway with lots of prizes, including a chance for a few readers to read The Hummingbird Heart early.
Before we get to the deets, here's a quick intro to my new adult series for anyone who hasn't started it yet.
The Haunted Hearts Legacy is a set of sensual, gothic historical romances with paranormal elements. Being a generational / familial series, each story is tied to the main characters from book one. You get glimpses of the original couple throughout the series, and find out how they're faring over time, all while being taken on new ghostly journeys by their grown children.
So, if you haven't read book one, it's a bit spoilery to jump into the second, but each story can still stand alone. If I did my job right, reading book two will make you curious enough to go back and read how everything played out in the first one. ;)
Here's a peek at the first book in the series, The Architect of Song:

Wow! I'm so excited to read this series: I love the Splintered books!
ReplyDeleteHmmm....my favourite would probably be some Gothic couple from literature! Can't think of any particulars at the moment...
ReplyDeleteFavorite historical romance is Outlander. Love me some Jamie Fraser :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that the launch date for The Hummingbird Heart is getting closer, loved The Architect of Song so I'm ready to see what else is coming in this series.
ReplyDeleteI really loved the Spintered series they made me so happy. I'm trying my best to be a good author. Starting to write.
ReplyDeleteI'm eager for August 15th! I've read every single book you've written. I'm also excited for Stain! Please don't ever stop writing. I hope you visit Dallas soon.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of my favorite but I love reading your books.
ReplyDeleteIm so excited for this release. Especialy since it comes out on my bday. It will make a great bday present for myself
ReplyDeleteI've never actually read a historical romance before
DeleteIt's hard to pick a favorite, because historical romance is pretty much my favorite genre! I'm really partial to Julianne Donaldson's books though.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this one!
What is your favorite historical romance?
ReplyDeleteSo far, it would have to be book one, The Architect of Song. Other ones I've read include Anna Karenina, Pride & Prejudice, and Sense & Sensibility. I just adored getting Architect in its personalized Lit-Cube! It was a wonderful experience!
I honestly can't wait for this book to be released! I loved the first one so much I read it in a day!
ReplyDeleteCan I go with The Phantom of the Opera as a historical romance? I read it just recently and I fell in love with the whole concept of it. <3 It was so magical that right now I can't think about any better book. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite historical romance is Phantom of the Opera!! It has been my favorite forever. I have seen the play a dozen times. When I first seen Andrew Lloyd Webers Phantom of the Opera in Chicago I cried throughout the whole thing. It was the best thing in my life.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a big fan of Wuthering Heights, even of the romances there are the biggest mess of them all!
ReplyDeleteIf I have to choose a favourite romance, I always adored Nadia and Miguel Stroggoff... (yes, I'm weird like that!).
I am so excited for this book!!! You are by far my favourite author! My favourite historical fiction is Outlander...unless you'd consider RoseBlood to be hahaha
ReplyDeleteOutlander. Seriously, that's so romantic. Oh, also The The Architect of Song. :-) I can't for this book.
ReplyDeleteNo absolute favorite, but I do love the genre in general.
ReplyDeleteSo excited!!! <3 <3
ReplyDeleteFavortie historical romance, hmmmm....I'd have to go with a broad genre as I can't choose a specific one. I usually go for the stereotypical highlander romances, which are sometimes pretty cheesey, but I can't seem to help myself!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite historical romance is "The Forgotten Garden" by Kate Morton! A gothic tale inspired by the book "The Secret Garden" from FH Burnett, a lovely, beautiful, haunting story!
ReplyDeleteHmm, Pride and Prejudice is definitely up there.
ReplyDeleteFavorite so far would probably be The Outlander. Excited for this new book.
ReplyDeleteThe architect of song is alonside a court of wings and ruin my best 2017 read so far ... i love the story, the characters, cant wait to read the sequel .... thank you for being such incredible author and person :) i would pick a book from a slovak author Jana Pronská since she is the best slovak historical romance author :) her book Kliatba (Curse) is really great.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if the Forest Wife by Teresa Tomlinson counts as romance but that's my favourite
ReplyDeleteProbably the dark days club...I would that fits the genre...I think hee hee
ReplyDeleteI have too many favorite historical romances. But one of my favorites this year was The Merchant's Pearl by Amie O'Brien.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite historical romance is Lisa Kleypas' Wallflower series, but it had nothing on A.G. Howard's The Architect of Song <3
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite historical romances is MY LADY JANE! It's less romance but more humor, but I love it!
ReplyDeleteI tend to like any historical romance that's set in the Pride and Prejudice/Jane Austen time period. I read one book back in Jan titled Burning Bright that was amazing!
ReplyDelete~Flora D.
Historical isn't a big genre for me, but I do find myself attracted to them occasionally.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have to give an answer that may be a little out there: The Chess Garden by Brooks Hansen. Not strictly romance, but very romantic nonetheless.
Honestly, I don't usually read historical romance. "The Architect of Song" was a little outside of my normal reading but I enjoyed it so much! I ended up staying up all night to finish it. I really look forward to "The Hummingbird Heart".
ReplyDeleteOMG so many amazing and beautiful prizes! Thank you so much for the chance! I LOVE your books ♥
ReplyDeleteHmm favorite historical romance... Pride and Prejudice and Emma by Jane Austen. I also loved Green Darkness by Anya Seton. That book was a recommendation from my mom so it's special. She recommends me historical romances and I recommend her some contemporary books LOL
