Welcome to the cover reveal for The Glass Butterfly, book 3 in the Haunted Hearts Legacy series! If you haven't yet seen the beautiful cover by Nathalia Suellen, here's a sneak peek.
To see the whole image and read an exclusive excerpt from the book, follow this link.
And here's the book description:
For a decade, twenty-seven-year-old Felicity Lonsdale has masqueraded as a dowager almost twice her age—selling caterpillars to butterfly consortiums—enabling her to hide her courtesan past while raising her late brother’s daughters. Together, the three live on an isolated Irish estate bequeathed by a dying earl. When the earl’s estranged son arrives to claim his inheritance by threatening to expose Felicity’s true identity, she longs to pack up her nieces and run. But a ghostly secret within the castle’s turret holds her captive.
Nick Thornton—a Roma viscount’s heir—is also captive. After a tryst with an investor’s wife nearly destroyed his family’s holiday resort, Nick forsook everything to elope with her. However, a tragic mistake at his hand led to her and his baby’s deaths. Refusing to turn to the family he shamed, Nick travels to seek the countess who once co-wrote a romance with his sister. There’s rumor of a special butterfly in her keep—a transparent-winged species with ties to the afterlife. Nick hopes to contact his dead wife and child, convinced only their forgiveness can free him.
Upon his arrival to Felicity’s estate, Nick offers to help her defeat the earl’s son, on the condition she allow Nick to investigate her glass butterflies. Felicity agrees, though fears the closer he gets to the ghosts of his past, the closer he’ll come to uncovering her own. As Nick spends time with Felicity and her nieces, he realizes the mystery enshrouding this fragile countess and her castle is more intriguing than the ghosts he originally came to find. And perhaps putting his dead to rest and helping her do the same will be his true path to redemption.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites, too!
DeleteI have to say one of my first favorite Gothic novels would have been The Phantom of the Opera, I remember being obsessed with it when I was much younger and would listen to the soundtrack on repeat in my cassette player. Think I eventually wore out my tapes because between watching the VHS and listening to my music, they couldn't handle it. Whoops. I'm so excited to see the continuation of this series!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Can't wait for you to read Nick's story. :) And since you love PoTO, have you ever read Phantom by Susan Kay? I think it would be right up your alley! :)
DeleteI absolutely adore the cover!!! Rebecca is my favorite :D
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! I love that one, second only to Jane Eyre. ;)

ReplyDeleteI will forever love the book The Deepest Cut by J.A. Templeton. It was the first supernatural story I ever read and it made me fall in love with the genre.
ReplyDeletePhantom of the Opera, and lots of Edgar Allan Poe! As for ghostly, I do enjoy the classic A Christmas Carol. Gorgeous cover!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this cover!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Gothic/ Ghostly book is probably Keeper by Kim Chance. Or Hereafter by Tara Hudson.
A Tell Tale Heart for sure! The suspense and grisly themes are everything <3
ReplyDeleteSo excited for the next book to arrive!! It's sure to be brilliant :D
My favourite gostly novel would probably be Phantom of the Opera. Because of my musician heart I liked more musical, or only songs, but book is awesome too! I actually don't read this type os prose that much and I would love to read these series form you! :D
ReplyDeleteMy fav ghost story is a Henry Miller's story. Don't know how to say it in english, but in Spanish "Otra vuelta de tuerca"
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Gothic stories are those written by Edgar Allan Poe. I can't really pick just one off hand though I guess "The Raven" has always been one of my favorites to read aloud.
ReplyDeleteVery excited for your next book in this series. Thanks so much!
My favorite Gothic story is "The Forgotten Garden" by Kate Morton!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites is Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite would definitely be The Phantom of the Opera. Back when I was still taking voice leasons, I was taught to sing Christine’s parts and I had trouble especially with emulating. I watched the musical and movie and ... read the book. I might not have mastered it in a technical level, but I managed to understood her better. The book is very different from the other mediums with its own appeal to me, but in many ways I think it is the more superior one.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gothic story is probably Jane Eyre!
ReplyDeleteI missed the Roseblood giveaway, so I'm so happy to be able to join this one! I can't wait to read the books <3
ReplyDeleteThe cover is so beautiful! My fav ghostly story is In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters!
ReplyDeleteI have love for so many different books and it's so hard to be choosing just one but I think the good ole' clasic of 'A Christmas Carol'
ReplyDeleteUhm... The Architect of Song? And Phantom of the Opera ♥
ReplyDeleteOMG this cover is so beautiful! Can't stop staring at it! Aaaah I'm dying to read this book! ♥♥♥
Nice!
ReplyDeleteI love the Anna Dressed in Blood duology! It was just the right amount of creep and exciting XD
ReplyDeleteI loved Anna Dressed in Blood. This has made me realize, as a ghost lover, that I have not read all that many books with ghosts in them. Gosh, this book and The Architect of Song are all I can think of right now. 💜
ReplyDeleteThanks for the stellar giveaway! 🙌
