I originally wrote Splintered with a second book in mind, but I didn't know if the sequel would ever be given a chance. Because of the wonderful Splintered fans and readers, I get to continue the story!
So to thank you all, here's that huge INTL giveaway I promised!
As far as details for the second book, all I can offer for now is:
Alyssa kicks bootie. And Chessie's there along with other Wonderlandians (the good, the bad, and the creepy). OH, and then there's Jeb and Morpheus ... *swoons*.

Also, I have never read a story that made me Instantly want to draw the characters before, but that is what happened when I read this. I definitely plan on drawing them at some point.

You MUST know my enthusiasm as the first thing I did after finishing Splintered was ask you if there would be another book coming!! I have always loved the Cheshire Cat because you know..he's a cat...but The Mad Hatter was also a favorite of mine. I am excited to hear more about Chessie in book 2..also I am going to cop out and say, OH, MORPHEUS!!

ReplyDeleteMy whole like i have loved acline in wonderland and time burton. So natually i graviate towards the odd ball Chessie what helps is my mum says i have always had a "cheshire smile". MY sis even got me a plush chesire cat for christmas! :D in Splinterd though, Morpheus is my love!!!! Always loved hatter too, and now i'm just dying of adoration!!

ReplyDeleteI can't choose dark or light right now. I hate that I don't hate Morpheus. I want to. But I love Jeb... and Morpheus. I'm tied there. However, from a mother's perspective I think I love her mom, too. The sacrifices she made to protect her family.

ReplyDeleteYou simply did the best job creating these characters. I have been in a "book slump" recently where every book I pick up has been pretty disappointing and Splintered completing lifted me from the slump!
ReplyDeleteI would say that my most favorite character in the series thus far would have to be Morpheus. I love Al and Jeb, but Morpheus is so very dynamic and wonderful. Plus, I always route for the underdog. ;)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is definitely Morpheus. I loved how confusing and twisted he was and how he seemed to struggle with himself to do the right thing. Even after everything he did, I had to believe that he truly loved Alyssa. And as much as I love Jeb's loyalty, I have to hope that she ends up with Morpheus! This story honestly inspired me to continue writing my own stories because I wanted to create characters that were as life-like as the ones in Splintered. I am so ecstatic to find out that there is a sequel. I can't wait!

It was an amazing character and I simply loved it for his words, behaviour and it was really funny.

Deletehahahaha i am already reading unhinged. my friend in America recommended 'splintered' and i fell in love with the book! i LOVE Morpheus and have a feeling my sketchbook is going to be filled with him. PLEASE can Morpheus and Alyssa get together in the next book. me and my friend both agree on this, Jeb is a bit unstable and two faced, whereas Morpheus always does things for a reason and cannot be blamed for his ways, he did grow up in Wonderland! if i had Morpheus and Wonderland i would snatch both of them without a doubt in my mind! love ti keep writing and I'll keep reding!
